BLACK FRIDAY
Vision great and vision deep
Vision with sorrow and without sleep
Of hatred and man’s wars
Of genocide, atrocities, and butchery
Of blood and limbs spread
And spotted about
Of swords and spears
Of bullets and bombs without
The cheers of joyful throng
Of slow death so life defying
Of power unseen and untouched
But buying of greed,
Of lust and malice
And truth obscured
Of starvation, suffering
Even without war!
